Bath Half update

We have already raised over £8k towards this event of our target £50k (and over£24k towards pancreatic cancer charities) which is fantastic given that most of you are only just starting your fundraising efforts; and how much time is left before the event.

It probably feels very different on the training front –  how LITTLE time we have left until the event!  However, all things considered, training is going pretty well.  I think a number of you believe that a bit of walking may need to be thrown in along the way, but that’s absolutely fine  …. Jackie would certainly approve of that!  We’re a high performance team but that doesn’t necessarily mean we have delusions about being great runners.  But fear not, hidden amongst our team members, we do have a small (medium sized maybe?) cadre of top runners who will fly the flag for us and do Team Jackie proud!

We’ve had a few “early retirements” due to injuries but are still recruiting and incredibly are managing to told team numbers very close to 200.  At the same time the Team Jackie family fun runners are growing apace – nearly 100 now!

Team Jackie continues to amaze – good luck everyone.
